Ciao all,

My name is Josto, I am a native Italian speaker from Sardinia. I am 33 year-old, and I have just completed my PhD in Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney.

I am a certified teacher for Italian as Second Language, and I have more than 10 years teaching experience in several countries, including Italy, China, Laos, the UK, and Australia.

I currently tutor Italian for the Center of Continuing Education at the University of Sydney and for the Dante Alighieri Society.

I offer Italian classes for individuals or groups.
Each class runs for 1 or 2 hours, according to necessities.
I offer face-to-face and online classes (on zoom).

I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English, and French. I have worked with students of all ages and I like to apply different methodologies for each class, with many fun activities to keep the learning experience enjoyable and productive at all times.

I also offer support for academic writing for subjects in Humanities (History, Societies and Cultures, Anthropology, International Relations). I have a double master degree in International Relations (Beijing University) and in International History (London School of Economics). I have studied Visual Anthropology in China and I am currently undertaking a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies at Sydney Univerisity. Therefore, I can draw on many different disciplines to enrich academic critical thinking.
