Is your child completing Elective Music at school? Music lessons DO NOT have to be a separate entity to their formal education! With my Masters of Teaching and four years experience as a K-12 classroom teacher, I can easily integrate the NSW Music syllabus with the content of private music lessons.

I completed my Bachelor of Music at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and a Masters of Teaching Degree at the University of Newcastle. This allows me to combine my knowledge of music with tried and tested teaching techniques and pedagogies. I teach a wide range of guitar and vocal styles both for exams and leisure.

As a musician, I am best known for gentle, acoustic performances and I have extensive experience singing and playing guitar as a soloist in venues around the Newcastle and Hunter region. I have collaborated with producer Jericho and worked with GenR8 Entertainment.

Lessons available: contemporary and classical guitar, vocals, theory, musicianship, HSC courses, analysis.

AMEB syllabuses are included for Classical Guitar upon request.

Audition, eisteddfod and competition preparation is also coached.
